The 6th Apprentice is Hired

So this is going to be my last post about "The Apprentice" - well, until next season. If you watched (or heard about) the Apprentice finale a week ago, you know that my Seattle favorite, James Sun, was not hired by Mr. Trump. The honor went to Stefani, a Los Angeles attorney. I believe she will do well.

Why did Stefani win?

The Stefani that showed up in the final Board Room was amazing - and different than the Stefani we watched all season. This difference landed her a job with the Donald! Visit the Trump University site to learn how she did it.

Why did James lose?

Frankly, it still isn't clear. Trump made it sound like James blew it in an earlier exchange, but if you read James' blog post last week, even he doesn't really understand what happened. For James, however, it's all good. He is grateful for the experience and he is happy for Stefani. I like James.

What other lesson did we learn?

We learned that Mr. Trump does not approve of office romances. That's why Nicole, one of the Final Four, was fired. Trump wrote about this faux pas on his blog last week. It was fun while it lasted.

Until next season.
